Hello Peeps:
Last night we watched Spring Watch on the BBC. And for my British friends... you know what I'm talking about. For my American and Canadian friends, you should go to the BBC website and catch up on the Spring Watch phenomenon. We saw badgers and blue tits and wrens. And FYI, Simon King would like anyone (in the UK) who spots a polecat to notify the BBC immediately... preferably with a photo.
This is a Polecat:
Have fun in the spring. That's my moto.
love, Pearl.

We watched Spring Watch last night too. We like watching the fev-vers the best.
Oooh a Polecat, what an interesting looking animal.
Never saw a polecat before. I guess we're going to have to look up that tv program.
I see you are keeping the dawg in his corner of the couch :-)
Eclipse
A polecat? What interesting fauna you have on that island of yours, Pearl. I've never heard of such a thing!
It reminds me a bit of the confusion one British person had about the animal they found in their newly-acquired Alberta, Canada backyard. They posted on the interwebs what they were sure was an otter, but it turned out to be a woodchuck / groundhog. Tee hee!
Well -- we wouldn't know about Polecats and Groundhogs if we weren't exposed to them, would we?
Now Pearl, please explain why you are cuddled up to that woofie on the couch. Fraternizing with the enemy again? Is it that cold?! Yes, it is a lovely woofie, but a woofie just the same...
Pearl, I google-imaged "polecat" and by gosh, that looks like what we North Americans call a ferret!
We don't have Spring Watch on the telly here...but our Mewmie got us a video we like to watch, called The Kitty Show. It's bugs on a screen door!
