Hello.

I have decided that 3:30 PM is an appropriate time to have dinner. And 4:30 AM is a very good time for breakfast.

Also, sometimes when humans are resting, they only pretend to sleep. If you get your face right up in theirs, you can see that they're not really sleeping. Do not be fooled.

I think a slug ate a leaf from our runner bean. This is serious. The runner bean will not survive if slugs eat the leaves. I have no interest in slugs so I'm afraid I can't help in this area.

Here's a photo of bluebells in the forest, taken a few weeks ago while they were in full bloom.

Dearest Pearl,

I have read the entire interwebs three times today because I am stuck in bed on a long weekend, to boot.

However, nothing raises the spirits as much as seeing a new Pearl blog entry on the old RSS! Yay!

I think the 3:30 pm lunch and 4:30 am breakfast is very fair. You have spaced your meals 12 hours apart AND THEN, most generously let the beans sleep an extra hour!
