Not a Wordless Wednesday

Pumpy and I are thinking of Daisy, who had surgery yesterday for bladder stones. I feel that I am a kindred spirit of Daisy's in that I have this condition also. For some reason I am prone to developing bladder stones and I've have surgery 3 times for this affliction so I know a thing or two about it.

I can only eat the most expensive and special kind of stinky goodness that the woman has to order from the vet. It's also very good for me to drink as much fluids as possible to encourage "going to the loo." I also try not to get too stressed but this is hard as I am naturally always very... concerned... about things.

A word of caution for Daisy... don't lick or bite your stitiches!!! I managed to do this even though I had a dish on my head (I'm very persistent.) So the vet told the woman to buy some baby pajamas and cut a hole in the backside (for the loo visits). In this way I couldn't lick or bite my stitiches cause I'd have clothes on. Oh. My. Gawd. The woman was really excited because she secretly always wanted to dress me and Pumpy in baby clothes (she loves baby clothes). But I HATED having pajamas put on me. I hated it more than almost anything as as soon as she put those things on me I soiled them very quickly and then ran through the apartment and hid under the bed and refused to come out. I screamed my head off too, when the woman tried to coax me out from under the bed. It was all such a debaucle. And such a disappointment for the woman.

Hope you're feeling better soon Daisy. And thanks, Pixie, for pinch hitting while Daisy is away!!

Pajamas??? EEEPP!

Best wishes for a speedy recovery for your friend Daisy.

We're in a Valentine frenzy at our house. We think this photo of the two of you would make a lovely Valentine - so cuddly.

Oh Pearl! Thanks ever so much for your good advice. You are such a great friend. Daisy is still at the hospital - they said she may have to stay one more night because she is pretty painful. I am taking notes so I can tell her what you said when she gets home.

Oh dear, pajamas! I'd hide too, although I'm sure you looked adorable (mommy wants to dress me too....)
I have to take the special vet food too for my FIV & IBS (vitamen rich). It is good stuff isn't it???
Don't worry, by the way, the towel is still on the floor. Yup, they love me enough to leave an old, torn, faded towel out. I needed to have my soft paws put on so they needed me out from under it.
I'll post on that tomorrow or Friday...
