Mornings

Man... this morning the human woman got up really early. Like -- 4:30 or something. And Pumpy and I were fast asleep on the sofa and she turned on the TV and said something like, "Will you make room for me? Will you? Can you scooch over? Can you? Can you?" And then she just moved us onto a cold spot on the sofa. We were like... No Way Man. And we got up and scratched hard on our sisal cat rug. Then we came back to the sofa and sat next to her head and licked our lips a lot until she let us get under the duvet and she stroked us until we went back to sleep.

We're supposed to eat our Stinky Goodness at 7:00 every morning. (Stinky Goodness is catosphere talk for scrummy tinned food.) Anyway, the humans slept until 8:30 this morning. I couldn't believe it. Even though I went into the lounge several times to see if the human woman would get up, she just slept and slept. So finally I had to holler at her and she woke up and then she had to holler up the stairs to my man servant to hurry and wake up. And then it was rush, rush, rush and I was so afraid that they would forget our breakfast and I had to howl several times while the woman made her coffee so that she would remember our breakfast. But I do this every morning just in case she forgets.

My man servant always has special cereal in the mornings and he gives me the milk afterwards. But sometimes he forgets and so I have to sit right in front of him and look hard at him while he eats his cereal so he remembers to give me the cereal milk. This morning I overheard him say, "should I give her the milk?" And I was like -- WHAT? What do you mean "should I give her the milk?" Of course you should give me the milk. What's the problem?

The woman said yes and so he gave me the ceral milk and I was so happy.

Meow.
