Hello Peeps:
Last night we watched Spring Watch on the BBC. And for my British friends... you know what I'm talking about. For my American and Canadian friends, you should go to the BBC website and catch up on the Spring Watch phenomenon. We saw badgers and blue tits and wrens. And FYI, Simon King would like anyone (in the UK) who spots a polecat to notify the BBC immediately... preferably with a photo.
This is a Polecat:
Have fun in the spring. That's my moto.
love, Pearl.

Hello.
In spite of a wee bit of conjunctivitis in my eye, I've had a good day. I ate some dog fudz, sat in the woman's lap, and took a nap on the patio in the warm sunbeams. The dog tried to bother me today and she had to go sit at the woman's feet. Bwhahaha.
Everyone in England is angry about the members of Parliament claiming for lots of fudz, throw pillows, moat cleanings, and mortgages on their work expenses. I didn't notice any expense claims for kitty upkeep and that really takes the cake if you ask me. THROW THE BOOK AT THEM.
I've got to go wash my eye out with chamomile tea.
Have a nice day.

Hello.
I have decided that 3:30 PM is an appropriate time to have dinner. And 4:30 AM is a very good time for breakfast.
Also, sometimes when humans are resting, they only pretend to sleep. If you get your face right up in theirs, you can see that they're not really sleeping. Do not be fooled.
I think a slug ate a leaf from our runner bean. This is serious. The runner bean will not survive if slugs eat the leaves. I have no interest in slugs so I'm afraid I can't help in this area.
Here's a photo of bluebells in the forest, taken a few weeks ago while they were in full bloom.

How the Garden Grows
It looks like it's time to put Mr. Runner Bean out in the garden. We tried to propagate six plants but only one survived and decided to come forth. The post mortem on the other beans revealed that they may have been over-watered. We will learn from that mistake. And when I say we... I mean she.
I sat on the patio and helped her weed the garden. As always, the weeds made my tummy hurt and I had to go inside the house and retch on her living room rug.
Signing off on this sunny Saturday!
Love, Pearl.
