Keeping Watch

See my shadow in the red curtain? Every morning I like to go upstairs to their bedroom and sit on the table and keep watch over the back garden. Pumpy sleeps on the bed while I supervise the garden.

Can you see me in the window? This is what I look like from the outside.

A lot of my friends from America have been telling me that it snowed over Easter and that they can't put flowers in their garden. I feel oh so guilty telling you that it was sunny and warm over here in England. Yesterday while those two were having their lunch on the patio, I gingerly walked outside and I crept all the way to the back fence, smelled the ground, and then when I realized what I had done I ran like a she-devil back to the safety of the house.

Hi Pearl! I can see you way up there! That sounds like a fun little adventure you had on the Outside.

Oh what a veiw you must have up there. I love to sit behind a curtain and look out but none of our windows are that high. Drat! I could look in all the neighbor's back yards if I had your window.

You know what I find interesting? The lack of screens in your windows! I wonder why we have them here but you don't there? I like your red curtain a lot!

Oh Kaze... the lack of screens is a HUGE topic of conversation amongst the American expat humans.

Personally, I really love it because bugs come into the house and I hunt them. When I get them I pat them down flat and leave them on the carpet for the woman to pick up.

That window is a really good look out post. All our windows are downstairs cuz we don't have an upstairs. Bet you can see for miles and miles. You were brave going outdoors. If you have a safe outdoors, it's nice to lie in the sun.

What is a window without a pwetty kitty there?
All windows should have handsome or pwetty kitties shouldn't they?
