Yule like this.

This morning a certain woman in this house got up before sunrise and drove to Salisbury Plain.

...to celebrate the Winter Solstice...

Here she saw a beautiful woman.

And listened to the drums welcome the sun on the shortest day of the year.

It's all downhill from here. We can now look forward to longer days and more sunbeams.
