Waiting in the Window
This window looks out onto the driveway of our house. From it I watch people come and go, birds, trees blowing in the wind, and the woman in her car. This last item is the most important, of course, because this determines when we get our stinky goodness.
Pumpy and I sit in this window every afternoon and wait...wait...wait. We are very relaxed but if time passes and the woman is late coming home from work (and by late I mean 10 minutes) we become very concerned. We sit upright and our noses touch the window glass and our eyes get very big. Each movement on the outside is met with great anxiety. We are so afraid that she won't come home and we won't get our stinky goodness. But that has never happened. She always comes home to us and we always get our S.G.

I love this picture. This window ledge is the perfect size for the pair of you. I also know what you mean about waiting for the humans to come home - I hate it when they're late and my tummy starts to rumble. FAZ
I can't believe you and Pumpy were born in Harlem too! We could definitely be related. The Feeders say that half the cats were black and the other half were all colors (like you and Pumpy!).
Oh I know! Its so horrible when they are late at all. Hey, you know what I noticed is strange...kitties in the UK don't have screens in their windows. Do you ever miss screens?

Your Mom must love coming home from work and seeing your two cute faces peering out at her! You are a good welcoming committee.
I get dinner from my beloved, who "works" from home. which is good. we are 21 stories in the air, we couldn't see the fudz lady from up here.

Phew! I am glad she always gets home. I bet she likes seeing the two of you there. My sister used to sit on the windowsill waiting for my mum to come home. I don't do that though because I find windowsills too narrow to accomodate my posterior. I just lurk inside the front door going "miaow! miaow!"
Ooooh that is such a nice picture of you two!
That is a loverly picture!! We don't see our people coming home, but we hear the garage door opening and we come to meet them at the door from the garage. Well, sometimes. If we're in the mood. Well, if we want to. And if we can be bothered to get up.

Love the photo you two look so
cute :)
Some humans can be so irresponsible when it comes to getting home on time! We are glad your's is one of the reliable ones!
Mom says we must have built-in clocks inside us 'cause we do the same thing. We know exactly when they should be home from work and are always waiting. But, if they expect to be late, they're considerate and let us know in advance so we don't worry! You should ask for the same courtesy.
