Ho Boy

So -- the woman attended a "Personal Effectiveness" course. It was all about getting things done. She immediately came home and started ripping wallpaper off the wall because this has been on her "to do" list since January. But just look at it! I have to eat in that room (notice me eating).

Wall paper doesn't come off easily, did you know that?

Sounds like that course might have been a bad idea. Sounds like it entails lots of work.

Um...can I send the Lap Lady over? She has quite a few rooms she needs "to do". Wallpaper is a dreaded nemesis in our house....

I tried taking wallpaper off in our house but it wasn't appreciated and I got shouted at. Why is it okay for humans to take off wallpaper but not us cats? FAZ

Oh dear, that looks like one BIG job. You are smart to just ignore the mess and eat.

Well, it looks sort of artistic that way - she could just pretend that is the look she was going for!

I learned a really really good trick for removing wall paper... Tell your silly human to get some white vinegar (a large bottle cheapest available) and a sponge. Then wipe the wall with the vinegar. make it very wet. then the wall paper will peal right off. If the wall paper is particularly stubborn, she should take a razor blade (you stay away from that thing) and make some cross cuts on the paper.
then wash the wall with vinegar. the house will smell like salad dressing, but the wall paper will come right off. Also, after all of the wall paper is off, she can wipe the walls. If she has a hardware store closeby, get a few cheapo plastic putty knives with sharpish edges. they work good (save the fingernails)

We had lots of OOOOglie wall paper here and I removed it all. Put on some peppy music and get it done!!!

You, Pearly Girl are a beauty <3

Uh oh. Maw started one of those projects and the bathroom stayed like that wall for 2 years. Yup. Then she hired someone to come finish it. Yup. Paw calls Maw the "Queen of Unfinished Projects". Yup.

Pee Ess. Too bad about your field becoming someone's house. Bummer. Fields are much better left alone. (kinda like wallpaper)
