Is it me or is Christmas getting downsized this year? Last year we had a tree (albeit a fake one) with decorations and trimmings. This year the woman came home... plopped this thing down on the counter... and announced that this was our Christmas tree. Everyone else was on board with it but, frankly, I liked that old fake tree. I knocked it over twice last year and chewed on the plastic branches. And it was nice.
The dog is being fantastically annoying, though. She found some wrapped Christmas presents and unwrapped them for all to see. It was lovely.

You need to talk to the woman. I don't know how it is in England but in the US it is EVERY cat's right to have a few ornaments to bat around the house...glass ones are the best.
Sometimes less is more. Think how easy it will be once Christmas is over!
At least you have a tree! Our house has zero decorations. OK, maybe a few but honestly, its time to get the tree already!!!

Heh heh. We don't even have that small a tree. Maybe it's a good thing that everyone is minimizing this year! Well, except that now your presents are going to have to be rewrapped which is a waste of paper... Yell at the DAWG!!!!!

I agree with Mrs. G. Every kitty has the right to some ornaments to bat around! Fight for your right to party, Pearl. Perhaps the woofie will join you in the campaign.

My kitties love to chew on our Christmas tree, too. That's what kitties do! I hope you can find something else fun to chew on!
Mom put a wreath thingy on our front door, but no tree. I don't know why she doesn't trust me to be around ornaments!!
