Hello. I am trying to convince the woman that feeding time begins an hour earlier than usual. She remains steadfast and resolute and the feeding time hasn't changed one iota. It gets dark here between 3:30 and 4:00PM... and the central heating kicks in just after 4:00. Therefore, I am trying to get my feeds over and done-with before the sun sets and just as the radiator heats up. I shall continue howling from 3:00 PM - 4:00 PM because sometimes this wears her down.

I think that is a very reasonable request, Pearl. I hope the howling works!

You need to do what my cats do, Pearl. You need to find out where the woman keeps the large bag of food and chew a hole in the corner...instant buffet.

You might have to wait for dinner but look at what pretty plates you get to use. I definately need an upgrade in china.

Goodness, humans can be so dense. This morning, I had to stretch up and put my claws out on my woman's back so that she would pay attention to me. We shouldn't have to work so hard.--Joel at her computer

Hi there Pearl! Sorry for being gone so long... I just refound you by looking at some old posts of mine. Jake has taken to howeling for his stinky goodness everytime mom walks into the kitchen. If you're hungry, you must howl.

Dearest Pearl,

I am happy to see your pretty pink and white transferware bowl. My beans bought me a similar, set of blue bowls for my own stinky goodness. Unfortunately, I think they bought my plates off of E-Bay, goodness knows who or what may have eaten from my special blue kibble bowls! A woofie, even?

Pearl -- you must be strict. If the heating kicks on at 4 o'clock, then you must have your tea BEFORE THEN in order to secure the warmest napping spot with head on radiator, as you have illustrated so well in past posts. You must secure your food first, then secure your napping spot. Only seems reasonable to me. Tell those Beans to get with the program!

P.S. do you really eat ALL your kibble daily? Mine languishes in the bowl. I hold out for stinky goodness over crunchy goodness.
