My Inner Pagan Speaks
Today marks the Summer Solstice which is the longest day of sunlight all year. I especially like to celebrate this day because you know how I loves me some sun beams.
You know, I never 'got' that concept before this last winter. But by this summer I was so relieved to see the sunshine. I'm so happy that it's light until 9:00 at night!
We wish you lots and lots of sunbeams today!
ReplyDeleteI am glad you have sunbeams. The clouds have come out here in O Hi O and ruined my sunbath!
ReplyDeleteHappy Solstice! We are having an unusually hot spell so I'm planning to lay in the shade myself. Enjoy your sunbeams.

ReplyDeleteThat is a beautiful pictor!
ReplyDeleteWith the benefit of commenting after the solstice I know it was grey and wet. I hope you managed to hide under a druid's cassock to keep dry!
ReplyDeleteBTW - Stonehenge is yours, and yours alone.
You know, I never 'got' that concept before this last winter. But by this summer I was so relieved to see the sunshine. I'm so happy that it's light until 9:00 at night!
