The Christmas cactus is blooming and I'm quite surprised because the woman has no green thumb. Yet... it is happily blossoming and this means that Christmas is coming. Pumpy looks lovingly at it because he would like to eat it but it sits out of our reach.



The days are shorter and colder. Here we all are taking an afternoon nap.

    That plant is very beautiful. And I do not blame Pumpy, because it looks very scrumptious for eating, too.

    So do think one of those might survive in our house? I mean, the LL has no green thumbs (or fingers) and we like to nibble on plants. It sure is pretty!

    we are not allowed plants in our house cos we destory them - we even have a plastic christmas tree!!!

    Our Christmas cactus lives outdoors and so far has produced only one wee flower. Nothing as lovely as yours.

    Looks like you three have made peace and are getting your naps together. Good! Life's too short.... need peaceful naps.

    Pearl, I don't want to give you any wicked ideas, but keep the dog AWAY from the beautiful Christmas cactus...I think they're poisonous to dogs.

    What a beautiful Christmas Cactus. Ours never bloom that happily!
