Meanwhile from my command centre, I have been observing the new monster: identified as a "King Charles". King? Pah! Doesn't look very regal to me! (And I know Royalty!) The monster enters the garden on frequent visits. Even in the rain. "The Rain of King Charles" - ha! I crack myself up.
No matter. At least I have Pumpy. And my morning breakfast milk. I wish Pumpy would stand up to the critter a bit though. He's supposed to be my bodyguard (as well as my bed warmer!)
I will sneak out more news as the situation develops.
thanks fer the report princess
ReplyDeleteIf you and Pumpy stick together, maybe you can defeat the intruder. You might have some trouble, being that he is a King and all.
ReplyDeleteMy meowmie used to have a King Charles - but he was called Sam - bit confusing. Anyway CATS RULE!
ReplyDeletePlease keep us posted; the situation seems critical!
ReplyDeleteI just popped by to check how you're coping with the invasion. What do you expect in England - King's have been invading in that country for centuries. Have you tried diplomacy - it might work - call in the UN. We are hoping all is resolved soon but at least you have Pumpy. Love us.
ReplyDeleteWow, Pearl, I'm sorry to hear about the intruder. I hope you and Pumpy can stand up to him.
ReplyDeleteNo one turned on the computer here for a week so I was shocked (!) to find that your principality has been invaded.
ReplyDeleteIt appears you are going to have to just rise above it and give all concerned a Princess like snub!

Find out all you can, Pearl. Intelligence is vital in times of War.
ReplyDeleteOh Pearl this is quite a disturbing thing for the Queen of the house. I'm sure you will overcome and win the battle.
ReplyDeleteKaze
Cats rule, dogs drool. Nuf said.
ReplyDeleteLuf, Us
These are some grave developments of late...I'm sorry I've missed out on some of the action ~ hope you hold your ground against the King!
ReplyDeleteUgh, I am so sorry, I have to share my home with one of those too...
ReplyDeleteHahaha! Aw Pearl, you girls tend to be so much more emotional than the boys. I think, if you give pup a chance, you`ll find a new friend :)

Princess, I have bad news for you. A king outranks a Princess every time. I think you've been reduced to a hand maiden of some sort. Mark my words, if you don't do something now, you'll be fluffing up his doggie bed every night. I say bite and bite HARD. Now where is the most sensitive part on a dog, I don't know. Maybe try his nose first.
ReplyDeleteBest of luck to you,
Tyler
