Hey, kid... don't forget to share your Cheerio milk with me. Please.

Sorry I make your eyes itch, kid.

I helped myself to the butter last night whilst the rest of the house was asleep. Can you see my little claw marks?

For some reason the butter had to be thrown away this morning.

Pookie's Story

Pumpy and I are friends with a friend who's a friend of Pookie's mummy, Arlette. They live in The Netherlands. Pookie fell out of a window and has been paralyzed ever since.

This video is a little long but it's very interesting to see how Arlette takes care of Pookie. The most riveting scene in the video is when Pookie pees in the sink. Also, Arlette feeds her cats the finest of fine food and they get to have chicken before bedtime every night.

Well done, Arlette!

Wildlife

This little guy visited us in the garden today. He sat with us for a long time.

Here he is again in our tree.

Maybe he's building a nest nearby. I can tell him one thing for sure: there are plenty of worms, slugs and bugs in our garden for a family of little birds to eat.

Hello.

As you can see, I have to keep my eye on Pumpy because he can be a real pest. He ate the top off a tomato quiche this evening and he also sat on me yesterday and made me bite him.

There's a lot of chocolate around the house. DOGS AND CATS -- a word of warning: Do not eat it. We met a cocker spaniel today who spent the night at the vet's because he ate a giant chocolate egg.

Personally, my weakness is Cheerio milk and butter.

I hope your week goes well for you. That is all.

love, Pearl.

A rainy Good Friday.

The dog refuses to go outside.

Pumpy and I took a long nap on the sofa.

And I could really go for a blast from the space heater.

Hello.

As you can see, this is a photo of me giving myself a good wash.  I'm very adroit at cleaning my outer thigh.

In other news, things are really starting to happen here in Southern England, bird and flower-wise. I've seen a few robins and blue tits and various flowers and blossoms.

We have five beet plants sprouting on our kitchen windowsill and -- well -- who would have ever thought that a few beet plants could make the lady bean so happy?
