Royal Canin Fudz Gets Boring

I've gone off my fudz again. I definitely didn't eat Waltham's Feline Urinary Diet fudz. YUCK. Of late I've switched to Royal Canin fudz and that was OK for awhile but -- come on -- who wants to eat the same thing every day? I wants some junk fudz like what Pumpy and the dog eats. I'm stressing the lap lady out and she even had to call Royal Canin to get suggestions as to how I might like their fudz better but the only thing they said was that their fudz is made especially palatable for kitties and that I have to eat it and I can't have the junk fudz. I beg to differ, Royal Canin. Your fudz is boring and not fatty enough.

So my BFFB (Bean Friend For Breakfast) has left a treat for moi. (Red Arrow). Trouble is my favorite route to my milky delight (A) is blocked. Chair the wrong way. The direct jump (B) is blocked by the adverse projection of the spoon. The route via sofa, windowsill and through the curtains (C) is just too far and not cool!

My solution was elegant (if I do say so myself). Sofa, wait for Bean to move arm, jump over lap and laptop and voila!

A total eclipse of the sun

I've discovered that the sun disappears from the dining room window at about 10:55 A.M. and it reappears in the living room window at approximately 1:15 in the afternoon. Therefore, I surmise, there is an eclipse at our house. During this time I have been known to run from one window to the other in an attempt to find more sunbeams. When I can't find them, I fall asleep on the sofa next to Pumpy.

This here is Georgie and she lives in France. I know this because the beans have been away again and they brought back some cheese and photos of French cats. In true French style, Georgie isn't all hung up on her sexuality or her body. She is a free cat who doesn't mind showing the world what she's got.

I don't know this kitty's name but she is not as free as Georgie and I think she's a little cold because she doesn't have many furs.

And by the way, do you know that dawgs are allowed in the grocery store in France?

Pumpy and I have very strict toilet boundaries. We are extremely private and discreet when using our litter. The dog, however, LOVES to watch us and then, if the lap lady isn't paying close attention, the dog inspects every inch of our litter tray. I won't even tell you what other nasty thing she sometimes does because it's too disgusting even to write about it.

I'm going to insist on a curtain for my litter tray.

The lady has been told that she is not to make any attempt to pick me up and that stroking me whilst standing is out of the question. Therefore, she has been made to kneel beside me and offer gentle rubs while talking softly to me. She also knows that my tablets are embedded in a big pat of butter prior to offering them to me , thankyewverymuch.

Some people are getting into big trouble over here on account of phone hacking. I, for one, have NEVER phone hacked. If a kitty's got to hack, it's best to find an antique wool rug, a nice duvet, or else hack into a pair of shoes. Never a phone.

Bought at a charity shop for £1.99 and holding some lovely butter which is my favorite.

You may wonder why the humans continue to buy butter dishes when they seem to mysteriously break. I wonder this myself. Oh, there's always the promise of keeping the butter dish away from table tops and off of counter tops but humans eventually slip up. It's inevitable. And when they do, it's bye-bye ceramic and HELLLLOOOOO butter.

Pumpy and I don't drink tea, however, I will sniff it and contemplate it if there is a cup of tea near my sleeping spot. You may wish to make yourself a nice cuppa tea into which milk and/or sugar can be added. It's relaxing and has antioxidants. This is a known fact. The best way to enjoy a cup of tea is with a biscuit while watching the telly. This is my opinion only but if you drink your tea in a hurry or without sitting down, it is just wrong.

You may be thinking that for a kitty, I certainly know a lot about tea. And this is true. After all, I've lived in Engand now for almost eight years.

The Food Dude doesn't know very much about taking care of kitties. When tasked with feeding Pumpy and me last weekend he put dog food on our plate.
He also broke one of our litter pans whilst cleaning it (don't ask me how) and he put our clean litter in a paint tray instead. That just didn't seem right to us.

Now I have a thyroid problem and so I get a tablet which is wrapped in butter twice a day. And BTW, I can tell the difference between real butter and soy butter so don't think you can fool me. Not even for one second.

I really do like to get into the spirit of things over here in the British Isles and that's why I'm paying homage to Robert Burns as tonight is the Burns Supper. Sadly, there will be no piping in of the Haggis -- nor will there be any Haggis at all. In fact, I'm not even sure what Haggis is but I'm pretty sure that I'd like it if I got a taste.

This is the massage table that I am not allowed to sit on - which is why I sit on it every chance I get. Sometimes Pumpy and I have to go to the bedroom and stay there when this table gets pulled out and set up.

There is some serious chit going down over England and it involves a volcano in Iceland. Human beans who have left this island can't make it back and all I can say is that I'm glad I never leave home. Pumpy and I are all about sleeping on the big sofa, eating in the dining room, sitting on the patio when the sun's out, and going back to the big sofa to catch up on our sleep. We'll never get stranded unless we accidentally get locked outside in the garden due to the fact that the lady bean forgets that we're outside and she locks the door. But eventually we make our way back inside to the big sofa which is where it's happening as far as Pumpy and I are concerned.

I had to go to the vet again! Twice this week. Once because I was spending waaay too much time in the litter box and the lady bean grew concerned. And the second time for a test and a jab, which I did not appreciate one single bit. When I got home I bathed myself for at least 40 minutes. It takes a long time to calm down my furs after I've been very upset like what I was at the vets.

I consulted with Dr. Emma Saunders at Castle Hill Veterinary Surgery and she gave me eye drops and new fudz which I liked until this very evening. I have announced to the household that I no longer like my fudz and I want the junk fudz that the grocery stores sell.

Oh Hello!

Here I am doing an impersonation of a gargoyle. I'm on the table because a.) the dog bugs me, and b.) there was some Cheerio milk up there. Otherwise, I'm not much of a table sitter. I'm partial to heating vents and soft duvets.

Sometimes if the LL doesn't get out of bed in a timely manner, I sit on the floor next to the bed and howl. It's very irritating and usually gets her up rather quickly (although once it got me chased out of the bedroom.)

I licked this plastic bag about 100 times this morning. And then I rubbed my head on it a lot so that everyone would know it was mine. Pumpy was not allowed to lick my bag, FYI. No. Way.

We got to eat a piece of cheese this evening in celebration of Hogmanay, which is the Scottish name for the New Year's Eve Celebration. Hurrah.

Obviously Pumpy was feeling a little insecure yesterday and he needed to reach out and touch me during our nap. Sometimes that's OK. But as you must know by now, sometimes that's NOT OK. Yesterday I was feeling very magnanimous and so there was no hissing or biting.

We got snow yesterday and everybody stayed home from work and the lap lady got a cold.

The Christmas tree went up this week but this is not as exciting to me as it was in years past. Maybe because I know it's not real and it's too far to jump up and bite a babble.

Pumpy and I had a real bust-up in the middle of the night. So much so that the lady bean had to come downstairs in her housecoat and slippers and moderate our dispute. It was noted this morning that Pumpy and I usually have these bad fights in cold weather and they are usually because one of us -- PUMPY -- tries to steal a warm spot away from someone else.

I MAY have gained a little weight lately. Turns out that new stinky goodness isn't so good either so I has been eating some special diet fudz with some lovely gravy and it's all workin' for me.

Last week we watched the Donny & Marie show on the BBC. We felt that Marie's plastic surgeon cut a little too close to her left eye and that she needs a sensible hair cut. And we were sorry that we had to sit through another rendition of "Paper Roses."

On a bright side, it made us think of our OTHER friends, Donny and Marie. Feel free to go visit them!!

I have a question: if the clocks fall back an hour, does that REALLY mean that breakfast is moved up an hour? Like... srsly. My tummy tells me that it's 6:00 and it's time for stinky goodness even if the clock says it's 5:00. This seems all wrong to me.

Also, there are no more sun spots in the afternoon.

That is all. I need to go treadle on the lap lady for a few minutes to relieve my stress.
