Visitors in our Garden

These have been in our garden ever since that fence blew down and I think that yappy dog has something to do with it. Aren't they horrendous?

They used to be in our neighbor's garden. Then one day some men came and fixed the broken fence and suddenly they were in our garden.

The woman tried to return them to the house with the yappy dog but the neighbors told her to keep them. Eeww.

I noticed that some daffodils are blooming. It seems to be very wet outside. The woman sure has a lot of work to do in that garden when the time comes. I've noticed that lots of plants are just brown sticks and she's going to have to put everything in a bin and take it away to the tip -- along with those two hideous statues. The sooner the better.

Man Cat Monday and My Brother Pumpy

Here he is again... my brother Pumpy. He wasn't too crazy about wearing that tie (it was the woman's idea).

Pumpy is the strong, silent type unless he's scared. Then he cries. Pumpy is one of those man cats who is in touch with his feminine side and that's partly why I love him. And when he isn't in touch with his feminie side, I have to bite him.

Fashion Show Friday

I talked Pumpy into dressing up for Fashion Show Friday. He's wearing a special jacket made by grandma Helen in Florida. It's held together by a sparkling pin with long dangley things. His sunglasses were designed by Catvin Klein.

Happy Friday everyone!

She loves me and I love her

Here I am getting a cuddle from the woman. I'm so glad they're back. I slept with them last night even though the man said I make his eyes itch.

Pumpy had to go to the V-E-T's yesterday. He has an itchy ear and his breath is bad. The V-E-T said that his ear is a little red inside so she gave him drops for it. His teeth are fine -- he's just a stinky boy.

Home and Back Again

Those two finally came back home today after a very long time away from Pumpy and me. We were not amused. We hid behind the sofa until we were certain that they were who we thought they were and only after an hour or so did we come out and sit with those two humans.

And then... to add insult to injury... THIS is what they smelled of:

These pictures are of Rocco a doggie who lives in Florida; Scout, another NYC kitty; and Tucker, our New Jersey friend who seems to have become infatuated with our man.

Fitted Cats

As you know, Pumpy and I used to live in an apartment in New York City. One day the woman brought home a big carrier and she put us in it. We cried and cried. The woman cried. We thought something really terrible was going to happen and actually, it did. She put us on a plane and we had to stay on the plane for 7 hours and when we got to England, the man was there to greet us but we weren't in a good mood at all.

He took us to his apartment and opened the carrier door but we chose to stay inside and we gave him the stare down.

When he went to bed we got out of that carrier and found this cupboard and this is where we lived for about a week. We only left our shelves to eat and use the litter.

Later the woman came to England too and when she saw us she tried to hug and kiss us but we gave her the stare down too. That night she brought a big air mattress out to the big room and she laid down on it and we came out of the cupboard and got into bed with her and we snuggled together and that was the end of our cupboard living.

Today Pumpy and I are really happy in England. We have a house and we can go up and down stairs... we can look out of doors and windows and see birds, squirrels, and sometimes I daresay... other cats. We even have another human who loves us and cares for us (that would be the man) and we love him too, especially when he shares his cereal milk.

Everything is lovely.

Man Cat Monday

This is our friend, Sammy. He lives on the 23rd floor of a New York City building (but it seemed like the 24th). Great view! He shares the apartment with his human, Sheila, and his sister, Fifi. As you can see, he's the man of the house. He patrols the hallway whenever he can and makes sure no other man-cats come into his territory. Of course he retreats to his apartment whenever any other humans show up (but hey!). He has found Cat Nirvana: food, love and security (and a great view of Manhatten).

Sammy truly deserves to be featured on Man-Cat Monday. Take it away, Sammy!

My Valentine to Fat Eric

The humans have been travelling and they took my computer and so I've only just learned that Fat Eric and I have been chosen has finalists in Skeezix's Valentine Competition! This is very exciting news indeed.

The above picture is the valentine that I made for Fat Eric. It was hand drawn and designed by me and then it was put through a special computer thingy.

Here's the initial design:

Aren't computers wonderful things?

Anyhoo... good luck to all the finalists and thanks to Skeezix for having this fun competition. Oh -- and Happy Valentine's Day everyone.

Boo

Here I am in my favorite spot... behind the curtains in the front window. I'm poking my head out to see what's going on in the lounge.

There's lots of snow in the southeast of England this morning. There are big, wet snowflakes falling down even as I write this. The snow has made the satellite dish malfunction and this sends the two humans into a tizzy. I don't know why they can't just sit in a window and enjoy the view like me and Pumpy. Who needs TV when you have cars, people, birds and bicycles moving past your front window? It's VERY interesting.

Toesday Blogging

Ewww. Pumpy's' toes are dirty! You would never see MY toes dirty, I can assure you.

This is a picture of Pumy and me in the window where we participate in the neighborhood watch. We also wait for the woman to come home each day and we pretty much know exactly what time she is supposed to arrive so we sit in the window and make sure that her car rolls into the drive in a timely manner.

Happy Toesday everyone.

Radiators - Love 'em

What more can I say about it? I will throw myself down on any heat source that I can find. Even when it's really hot in the summer, I like to be in the hot sun.

Speaking of sun...it's out today in southern England. This is always cause for celebration at our house.

Hope you're having a great weekend. Pumpy and I will be napping in the sun.

Fashion Show Friday

This is THE ONLY thing that I wear. My pearls -- and my tiarra. If you remember last week I explained that I refuse to wear clothes. So this will have to do for Fashion Friday.
